Description
Welcome to charming Haggerty, Georgia, where resident FBI agent Mark Iverson protects the colorful individuals in the area, and presides over the members of his ward, where he serves as bishop. But his idyllic setting is about to change for the worse. A young woman is found dead--with few clues, except for one suspect who is already on death row. Another young woman disappears under mysterious circumstances. Then, a strange homeless man appears in town, claiming to be the missing woman's husband. On the surface, the two cases seem miles apart. But a last-minute confession from an unexpected source sends Mark on a complex and dangerous mission to learn the truth--truth that could cost Mark his job--and let the guilty go free.
