Sgt. Bilko is a schemer, swindler and an absolute laugh. Bilko runs a profiteering platoon in the Army and every money making scheme that he thinks he can pull off. Midnight cruises on landing craft, tank rides, poker games, and an interesting deal with local service stations for spare parts for jeep tires.

New recruits: Saturday's big poker game is just around the corner, and Sgt. Bilko is all tapped out. Could a new batch of recruits provide the solution?

The WAC: Sgt. Bilko is up for a new job at Fort Baxter, and the personal jeep that comes with it. Only one person stands in his way -- and she proves to be a worthy opponent.

The horse: After losing the platoon's money at the race track, Sgt. Bilko hides a sick horse at the base, hoping to nurse it back to health -- and transform it into a winner.

The eating contest: When a former army "eating" champion is transferred to the platoon, Sgt. Bilko sees a chance to end his losing streak. There's only one problem ... the champ can't eat unless he's miserable!

BIVOUAC: As the annual camp maneuvers approach, Sgt. Bilko has to decide which disease he will "contract" to ensure his continued non-participation. This year, though, Colonel Hall is ready with a plan of his own.

The Twitch: To punish the platoon for gambling, the colonel orders them to attend a lecture given by Captain Whitney's wife -- also known as "The Twitch."

The investigation: When a Congressional committee visits Fort Baxter to investigate wasteful spending, it's up to Sgt. Bilko to throw them off the track.

The Revolutionary War: Inspired by the diary of an ancestor who served under George Washington, Sgt. Bilko decides to apply for officer training.

The court martial: Extreme measures are required when an unlikely "recruit" is inducted into the Army.

A mess sergeant can't win: Mess Sgt. Ritzik's tour of duty is almost over, but first he has to avoid losing what's left of his savings to Sgt. Bilko.

Doberman's sister: Doberman's sister is coming to "Family Day" and it's up to Sgt. Bilko to locate an escort for the homely private's kin.

Bilko's tax trouble: The Internal Revenue Service proves a formidable foe for Sgt. Bilko when he is accidentally selected for an audit.

The big scandal: Doberman professes his love to the colonel's wife after he is accidentally hypnotized by Sgt. Bilko.

Hillbilly whiz: Dick Van Dyke guest stars as a Southerner with a great pitching arm who refuses to go along with Sgt. Bilko's plan to recruit him for the Yankees.

Bilko the art lover: Sgt. Bilko enjoys luxurious hospitality on a trip to New York -- until the buddy he is visiting has a falling-out with his wealthy father.

Bilko joins the Navy: Sgt. Bilko, Paparelli and Zimmerman pose as sailors to get in on a huge Navy crap game. But when the game gets raided, they find themselves aboard an aircraft carrier bound for Alaska!

Weekend colonel: Colonel Hall installs closed-circuit cameras to keep an eye on the platoon when he is away from the base. The plan works fine -- until Sgt. Bilko notices that a short-order cook bears more than a passing resemblance to the colonel.
