Description
During the War of 1806, French soldiers occupy a Swiss hamlet and order the villagers to surrender their rifles. Everyone but Marcus, a hunter in the mountains, complies. Marcus and Ciglia, the minister's niece, are deeply in love. But Pia, a wild mountain girl, vows to win him for herself.
