Description
When Matt Freeman's brother Fred wrote him about the town of Tumbleweed, where he owned a flourmill, he didn't mention any trouble, except for the usual conflict between farmers and ranchers. Yet as Matt approached the little Nebraska town, he experienced a chill that had nothing to do with the cold March wind. His premonition turned to conviction, then fury as he came upon a group of men trying to set fire to the mill. Then he learned that Fred had been killed in a gunfight earlier that day. What was behind the violence? Matt knew that his brother had hidden a box that contained clues to the unrest, but he didn't know where it was hidden.
