Description
In this rendition a tiger is proven to be a princess. In this adaptation of the classic Andersen tale, a bedraggled feline, claiming to be the real princess whom the prince seeks as a mate, undergoes the queen's bizarre test for determining true nobility. A young girl feels a pea through twenty mattresses and twenty featherbeds and proves that she is a real princess.
Target Audience
Intended audience: ages 4-8.
