When Detective Trey Shotwell agrees to attend an art auction featuring his father's work, he meets and is attracted to fellow passenger Ariah Stanton. But he has no idea that his tranquil voyage will quickly turn into a nightmare -- his father's works disappear, Ariah is nearly murdered (but another victim is not so lucky), and, in a crime eerily reminiscent of the death of Trey's mother so many years before, the young detective knows that nothing will stop him from solving the crimes and protecting the woman he loves.
